We are a law firm with expertise in principally five different areas: Corporate Commercial, Labour Law, IP and Marketing, Media and IT, and Dispute Resolution. While our clients consist of companies and organisations in a wide range of industries, they all have in common the need for expert legal advice in taking decisions critical to their business.
Our approach to each client relationship also has a common thread. We strive to achieve close, long-term cooperation in order to better understand the operations and needs of our clients.
Danowsky & Partners is a completely independent law firm, and our profits are shared equally between our partners – regardless of hours worked or who is the client’s point of contact. In this way, we can assist each client and address all cases with a sole focus on the best interests of the client.
In contrast to many of our competitors, we assign a high ratio of senior lawyers to our cases. We do not take on more cases than we can manage with adequate time for personal involvement and a high level of availability. In order to avoid funnelling our most senior expertise into management positions, we have made a conscious decision to avoid a structure which is staffed by many junior lawyers.
Danowsky & Partners was founded in 1993 by two lawyers from Sweden’s largest law firm at the time together with two lawyers from a leading investment bank. The firm initially focused on dispute resolution and transactions.
In 1995 the firm briefly joined Andersen Legal, which was the global legal services arm of Arthur Andersen, and opened a Gothenburg office.
